What an amazing day we’ve had today! It was fantastic to see so many teams at our grounds to take part in the GRFU U11 Festival.

We’ve all missed being able to take part in these great events over the last few years so it was great to see everyone coming together and having such a great time. We would like to thank all our amazing volunteers who helped make today such a success for the club – there are just too many to thank individually but particular thanks to Liza and Billy (who do such an amazing job for us with catering) our coaches, parents, U12, U13, U15 and Colts for turning out early to help too. Thanks to Gloucestershire Rugby Football Union for giving us the opportunity to host and those who supported us with advertising BPS Builders Merchants Akuma Falcon Security Solutions Ltd Highfield MOTS Roberts Express Delivery WHC Hire Services Three Counties Firewood Services

We hope everyone had a brilliant time and well done to everyone who took part today.

Following the changes announced by the Government on Wednesday 9 September in relation to the ban on groups of more than six people meeting socially indoors and outdoors. Although social gatherings of more than six people will be banned in England from Monday 14 September, the Government has confirmed that organised sports and activities that have been through return to play protocols can continue. With the exception of clubs impacted by local lockdown restrictions, we remain at Stage D on the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap. The rugby community can continue to organise non-contact fixtures with other clubs using Ready4Rugby and other touch rugby activity.

Please see our Clubhouse page for more information about Track and Trace and face-coverings.
