[singlepic id=238 w=152 h=220 float=left]Well done to Jay our newest and smallest member of the team, he was fearless in all of his tackles, often taking on much larger opponents.
Congratulations to Jack Brinn for being this weeks MOTM for the Tewkesbury Tigers Under 9’s team against Cinderford.
Nick Cooper was awarded Man of the Match against Chosen Hill
The under 9’s were the only team to be playing at home today, the other teams were either playing away against Lydney or were training.
Two games were played today the first game saw Lydney win 1 – 3 Tewkesbury did score 3 times but two of the trys were disallowed š for not placingĀ the ball down properly.
The second game Tewkesbury picked up the pace and turned things around winning 4 – 2
The try scorer for Tewkesbury in the first match was Sam and in the second game it was Max
Two of our players really stood out today and played their hearts out, so instead of a Man of the match award we decided to have a Men of the match award instead. Those two players were Oliver and Tom well done to both of you keep it up š
Following the changes announced by the Government on Wednesday 9 September in relation to the ban on groups of more than six people meeting socially indoors and outdoors. Although social gatherings of more than six people will be banned in England from Monday 14 September, the Government has confirmed that organised sports and activities that have been through return to play protocols can continue. With the exception of clubs impacted by local lockdown restrictions, we remain at Stage D on the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap. The rugby community can continue to organise non-contact fixtures with other clubs using Ready4Rugby and other touch rugby activity.
Please see our Clubhouse page for more information about Track and Trace and face-coverings.
