Saturday 12 noon – 7.00pm

The clubhouse is closed on Sunday but we do try to offer hot and cold drinks as well as Sausage/Bacon butties between 9.30 and 1.00

Our Clubhouse at The Moats is the hub of the Tewkesbury RFC family.  In normal times, we offer great food and hospitality as well as a fully stocked bar as well as a great space for birthday parties,  family celebrations, business meetings, or any other social event you are planning, but unfortunately at the moment we are unable to take any hire bookings.  We will update this page as soon as the situation changes.  We also have plenty of parking and are just a short walk to the town centre.   At this time we are only able to offer a limited service, and are able to accommodate 114seats (60  inside and 54 outside e.g. 9 tables in each area).  We would respectfully remind all our members and guests to maintain social distancing at all times. Please show your membership card to receive bar discount.   Unfortunately, we are not open to non-members at the present time, but members may bring a guest (£1.00 fee).

Track & Trace

For those visiting the clubhouse in line with government guidelines we operate a track and trace system.  On arrival, you can choose the NHS Track & Trace app or the EVE PASS app and scan our unique GR code with your smartphone.  Both apps are available for IOS and Android on the App store.  Please look out for the posters featuring the GR code around our facilities.

Face Coverings

Government guidelines also require everyone to wear a face-covering whilst you are inside the clubhouse – you may only remove your face covering when you are seated at a table.

We can provide all your catering needs for your event or meeting, or drop in at the weekend for a selection of great hot food.

We also have flat screens and projector screens available for sporting events and presentations. The club regularly shows live international rugby.

We have ample parking, along with disabled parking and disabled access to the clubhouse/toilets.

Our clubhouse is home to several local skittles teams, but is also available to hire for your event.

We have plenty of “flat” outside space which lends itself well to marques or any sporting events.

We also have flat screens and projector screens available for sporting events and presentations. The club regularly shows live international rugby.

Following the changes announced by the Government on Wednesday 9 September in relation to the ban on groups of more than six people meeting socially indoors and outdoors. Although social gatherings of more than six people will be banned in England from Monday 14 September, the Government has confirmed that organised sports and activities that have been through return to play protocols can continue. With the exception of clubs impacted by local lockdown restrictions, we remain at Stage D on the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap. The rugby community can continue to organise non-contact fixtures with other clubs using Ready4Rugby and other touch rugby activity.

Please see our Clubhouse page for more information about Track and Trace and face-coverings.
